Statement of Kristin Rowe-Finkbeiner, Executive Director and CEO of MomsRising Together, the online and on-the-ground organization of 3.7 million mothers and their families, on the early 2026 election returns:
“Although some results are still coming in, it’s very clear that Americans from coast to coast voted for change and for solutions to our care and affordability crises yesterday. MomsRising Together ran historically powerful Mom The Vote programs, including a Moms’ Seal of Approval on Child Care candidate program through which we endorsed 167 local, state, and federal candidates, all of whom are committed to making affordable, accessible child care a reality in our nation. All told, MomsRising Together endorsed 64 federal candidates across its Mom The Vote programs, giving 21 of them enhanced support – and we already know that more than 80% of those 21 candidates won their races. The 21 are:

Moms are taking the future into our own hands this year and voting for the future our children need.
“Tens of thousands of MomsRising Together volunteers led our massive, multi-faceted Get-Out-the-Vote campaign this year. It generated more than 32 million GOTV contacts; 6,000+ mom-led voting parties and local events; one million+ handwritten mom-to-mom postcards; 2.8+ million texts; nearly 400,000 calls; and more than 26 million digital ad impressions and views.
“This was a spectacular day for moms and for care. We will work tirelessly to ensure it’s the first of many.”
